Custom Roof Tile, Inc. (CRT) is a family owned and operated company with years of experience in every aspect of construction and insurance services. Brian Konitzer and his wife Melissa, who is also a licensed Insurance Adjuster, manage this one of a kind company.
Brian started his restoration career in 1992 with Service Master. He discovered that he had a real passion for the "business" and decided to expand his knowledge on both sides of the profession; construction and mitigation. In 1998, Brian earned his General Contractors license in the state of Florida and started his first construction and restoration company, Konitzer Construction and Restoration, Inc.
After achieving his goal of becoming a General Contractor, Brian went on to pursue the insurance and property adjusting side of the business. He continued his education and received his Insurance Adjusters License. He was then offered a job with one of the largest insurance companies in Florida where he spent several years as an adjuster.
While working as an adjuster / vendor coordinator Brian learned that the insurance industry was paying claims to replace tile roofs instead of repairing them because they either could not match the tile or the tile was not made anymore. This was when Brian thought of creating a company that could replicate roof tiles to repair the roofs instead of replacing them. Brian then went back to school to achieve his roofing license. Once he received his roofing license he opened a company called Custom Roof Tile, Inc. (CRT). Brian left his job with the insurance company to pursue this venture. CRT has saved insurance companies millions of dollars in the tile roof claims by repairing them rather than replacing them.
